Co-Founders

Our Co-Founders, Greg Moshal and Beau Bertoli, joined forces to start Prospa in 2012. Since then, the company has provided more than $3.4 billion in funding to thousands of small businesses across Australia and New Zealand and employs over 350 employees across APAC.
Greg Moshal
Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder

Greg Moshal

As one of Prospa’s Co-Founders, Greg has been driving the success of the company since inception. With his extensive experience in financial services spanning over ten years at Prospa, he has played a crucial role in establishing the business.

Greg's entrepreneurial spirit is fuelled by his passion for product, design and technology. He is dedicated to developing innovative cash flow products and services that unleash the potential of small businesses.

A multi award-winning leader, Greg’s accolades include being named Fintech Leader of the Year. He is also a recipient of the NSW Pearcey Tech Entrepreneur of the Year Special Recognition award.

Before his time at Prospa, Greg spent eight years diving into the world of consumer service chains and international consumer product franchises, successfully creating and scaling two ventures that he eventually exited with great success.

Greg holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Monash University.

Beau Bertoli
Chief Revenue Officer & Co-Founder 

Beau Bertoli

Beau is a Co-Founder of Prospa and brings near 20 years of financial services experience to his role of Chief Revenue Officer and Executive Director. He has been instrumental in establishing Prospa as a respected and successful fintech leader.

Beau’s exceptional track record includes founding a successful technology start-up and managing a consumer product retailer. He is passionate about building high-performing teams and creating cash flow solutions that keep small businesses thriving.

Beau's primary focus is on Prospa's Go-to-Market capability and revenue strategies, and he draws on this to understand and enhance Prospa’s customer and partner experience across all Prospa’s products and digital technology.

Beau’s outstanding contributions are consistently recognised by the industry, and he has been the recipient of acclaimed awards including Fintech Leader of the Year and the NSW Pearcey Tech Entrepreneur of the Year Special Recognition award.

Prior to Prospa, Beau held leadership positions including National Sales Manager at Humm Group Limited (ASX:HUM).

Beau holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Finance from Sydney University.

Adrienne Begbie
Managing Director

Adrienne Begbie

Adrienne Begbie is Managing Director at Prospa New Zealand. An experienced financial services industry leader, Adrienne brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role at Prospa and was instrumental in establishing the company’s presence in New Zealand in 2019. She is responsible for leading the Prospa New Zealand team, driving all local business operations, and building a strong network of loyal and engaged partners.

Adrienne has nearly 20 years of experience in the financial services industry including nine years at Resimac. A strong leader and experienced General Manager, Adrienne has a demonstrated track record and expertise in small business banking, sales management, insurance, and loans.

Adrienne is a passionate advocate for Kiwi small businesses and is committed unleashing the potential of every small business in New Zealand.

Ross Aucutt
Chief Financial Officer 

Ross Aucutt

Ross oversees all aspects of Prospa’s finance across our diversified portfolio. His deep knowledge and 25years’ experience in financial services guides Prospa’s financial planning and analysis, capital management, treasury, negotiations, capital reporting and merger and acquisition strategies.

Prior to joining Prospa in 2020, Ross held Executive finance roles at Humm (ASX:HUM) where he was Chief Financial Officer, and tier-1 banks including Westpac, Barclays and the Royal Bank of Scotland (NatWest Group).

Ross holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of Canterbury and a Masters in Finance from London Business School. Ross also is a certified Chartered Accountant.

Dean McAuley
Chief Risk Officer

Dean McAuley

Dean is Chief Risk Officer at Prospa; and brings a wealth of experience spanning over 20 years in the banking and finance industry to the company. He has collaborated with central banks, government entities, regulators, and industry groups across the globe, successfully launching consumer and commercial products in Australia, New Zealand and Ireland, and establishing offshore operations in New Zealand, the Philippines and India.

As Prospa’s Chief Risk Officer, Dean manages the financial and non-financial risk functions of Prospa, applying his calm and level-headed leadership style to balance risk and drive optimal commercial outcomes. Dean's ability to ‘think like an owner’ ensures we always prioritise the best interests of Prospa and our valued customers.

Prior to joining Prospa in 2019, Dean held senior roles in ASX listed and international companies such as American Express, Humm Group and Greater Bank. Dean holds qualifications in Project Management, Internal Audit, AML/CTF, Business Administration, and Management. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, International Compliance Association, Governance, Risk & Compliance Institute, and Director Institute for next generation directors.

Elise Ward
Chief of People

Elise Ward

Prospa’s culture enables business success, and the work to foster and nurture it is valuable and an ongoing investment Elise’s leadership inspires and guides Prospa’s people and culture with passion and expertise.

As Chief People Officer at Prospa, Elise has successfully implemented forward-thinking people and culture strategies which focus on inclusion and equity, performance and growth acceleration, and organisational effectiveness. Elise’s dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture is instrumental in driving the success of our talented team at Prospa.

Elise has over 15 years’ experience in senior People & Culture positions, across start-ups and tier-1 multi-nationals including Samsung and Tabcorp.

Elise holds a Bachelor of HR Management from Macquarie University and a Graduate Certificate in Change Management from AGSM at UNSW.

Andrew Malak
Chief Product Officer

Andrew Malak

As Chief Product & Technology Officer, Andrew accelerates Prospa’s transition into a global tech organisation, leading with a customer first approach and strong technical product management expertise.

Andrew's leadership connects the Data, Product and Technology functions to help with streamlining decision-making and prioritisation – an alignment that accelerates and fosters execution, collaboration, and innovation, and drives Prospa to deliver on our customer roadmap effectively.

With more than 20 years’ experience in product and digital transformation within the banking and financial services sector, Andrew has successfully led teams at renowned companies like Westpac and St. George Bank. Most recently prior to joining Prospa in 2021, he was Chief Product Officer at Spaceship, where he drove significant business growth through design-led product development.

Andrew holds an MBA (Executive) from the University of New South Wales and a Bachelor of Business in Finance & IT from the University of Technology, Sydney.
